What is Chase Season?

Chase Season is the community-driven market index for Pokémon TCG. It tracks parent expansions with live market pricing and active community chase signals, combined into a Chase Index that ranks what collectors are actually chasing.

How does chasing work?

On any card page you can tap once to chase. You can start anonymously; an account is optional if you want to save and sync chases across devices. Active chases determine the Chase Index.

Do I need an account to chase a card?

No. An account is optional: chase anonymously with one tap, or sign in later to save and sync your list across devices. Chase Season is not an inventory tracker.

How is the Chase Index calculated?

The Chase Index ranks the 100 cards with the most active collector chases. When cards are tied, current price provides a stable tie-breaker.

Is Chase Season affiliated with The Pokémon Company?

No. Chase Season is an independent project, not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., The Pokémon Company, or TCGPlayer. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

How often is the data updated?

Market pricing refreshes once per 24 hours. The Chase Index updates as collectors add or remove active chases.

Can I track my collection on Chase Season?

No — Chase Season tracks the collection, not your collection. There are good apps that handle inventory; we focus on what collectors as a body are chasing. Read more on the About page.
