The 100 most consequential modern cards in the Pokémon TCG (≥ $5, 2004 onward), ranked daily by price, weekly price movement, 30-day community chases, and weekly views. A consolidated index of what the market is actually chasing.
Every card in the Chase Index gets a percentile rank in four dimensions. The composite score is a weighted sum — anchored to market price, but reactive to recent price movement and community signal as they accumulate.
Percentile-rank normalises scales: a $1,500 card, a card up 8% this week, and a card with 50 chases in the last month live in different units, but their relative position (top 5%) is comparable.
The index is restricted to cards with a holofoil market price of $5 or more — penny cards can swing 100% on a single illiquid sale, which would otherwise dominate the price-move signal. For now it also excludes vintage cards (sets released before 2004), reverse holofoils, and Common-rarity cards.
