About Mega Altaria
Mega Altaria is the Mega Evolution of Altaria, a Dragon/Flying-type Pokémon. Mega Evolving shifts its typing to Dragon/Fairy and sharply raises its stats for the duration of a battle.
“This Pokémon has a kind disposition, but if it’s provoked, it will threaten opponents with shrill cries before attacking them without mercy.”
Mega Evolution debuted in Pokémon X & Y (2013) as a temporary, in-battle transformation. In the Pokémon TCG it appears first as “M” Pokémon-EX cards in the XY era, and again as Mega Altaria ex cards in the Scarlet & Violet "Mega Evolution" era — both of which are among the most chased pulls of their sets.
Chase Season tracks 2 Mega Altaria cards across 1 set, with daily market prices and Chase Index rankings. The most valuable right now is M Altaria-EX from Fates Collide at around $25.10.
